Testimonials

I have been working in the UK as an orthopaedic rehabilitation consultant for nine years and currently work with many professional football players and Olympic athletes. I recently began to study the Active Release Technique system as I was searching for a more efficient method of helping my patients get back to full pain free function very quickly. The results have been remarkable to the point where I do not know how I ever worked without these techniques and ART now makes up the basis of my practice.

My most recent course was the spine course which was held in Moss Norway where we were made to feel very welcome by the tutors and local population. Moss is well serviced by airports which made it easy to access from the UK and Europe. The course was held in the hotel where the majority of the students stayed which makes for an altogether better learning experience. My confidence with treating patients has sky rocketed since my learning with the ART courses began.

In 2004 I had the unique opportunity to assist Dr. Micheal Leahy treating a popular Sheik in Qatar. He is the inventor of Active Release Technique (ART) which is a soft tissue management system. I was able to assist him and experience first hand the unbelievable effects this treatment has on the human body.

Since I am using ART in my daily work as a Physiotherapist (PT). At the Olympic Wintergames in Vancouver 2010 I had the honor to treat the athletes of the German National Ice Hockey Team. I have been taking care of the team for seven years now and since I started using ART, I get a lot more satisfying results.

In order to achieve the Master requirements for a licensed ART practitioner you need to attend the following moduelles and pass the according exams: Upper extremity, Lower extremity, Spine, Long Nerve entrapment and Master.

I am very proud to be one of the few ART practitioners in Europe and hope to affect as many therapists as possible to be part of this specific soft tissue management system.

Martin Abraham, Manual Therapist, Munich Germany

"Active Release (ART) is without doubt the best soft tissue technique for muscles injuries and nerve entrapment's. I use ART every day in clinical practice whether its Joe public or a professional athlete. The technique allows me to get the results I want time and time again. I would highly recommend ART to any health professional working in the musculoskeletal field. The seminar delivery is excellent giving the provider a solid knowledge base of functional anatomy, diagnosis and the treatment of soft tissue, occupational and sports injuries."

"Before the course I expected the ART to be like other soft tissue courses. However it is a very subtle technique which you can actually feel the tissues and structures you are affecting moving better under your hands. For me it was a lot less demanding than other manual therapy techniques and seemed to get the same if not better results but quicker. I also like the fact that it takes the vital role of the nervous system into account and gives you the tools to change the output and the ability of the nerves to slide. I would reccomend this technique to any manual, hands on therapists."
